MUSICIANSHIP
Lessons on Mondays at 17h.
The musicianship course (a discipline born from the fusion of active methods and music theory) is a group class held weekly. It supports children in their musical learning, directly linked to their instrumental lessons.
In this class, students integrate musical language through experience and group practice. They develop a broad musical culture by exploring a repertoire with varied aesthetics. They are thus encouraged to experience and understand rhythms, to sing in tune and develop their ear, to recognise musical symbols, and finally to read sheet music. These skills help them become well-rounded musicians and to be more independent when discovering a new piece, whether written or not.
The class is structured as follows:
40 minutes of practical activities and a theoretical approach (listening, memorization, rhythmic games, reading, etc.)
10 minute break
40 minutes of group singing (a friendly and educational experience)
This class is essential for confident musical progress. It allows students to listen better, play better... and, above all, to better appreciate music!
Highly recommended by the teaching team for two years for students aged 8 to 14.
